Secret Crushes

Disclaimer: boy-free post.
How many times do you think about someone and how special they are to you but never say a word? As for me, I do that a lot. So my sneaky way of getting around that is to blog about them! No face-to-face awkwardness where they may be thinking, "Is she dying, is that why she's saying all this?" or "Does she want to leave her husband for me?" Every so often, I will acquaint you with one special person while confessing my undying admiration, love, etc. for them. By the end, you'll be crushing too!

I'm back with poetry and roses for another object of my affections. If you missed my first secret crush, check it out here. Wow, that was in January and my heart is full of others - I better get busy.

There's something about a redhead. I married one, for goodness sake. From experience I know that the stereotype about how gingers have a fiery temper and a sharp tongue isn't always true. Boy, can I do stuff that would make any husband blow his top (like back out of the garage even though the door is still closed) but CLH takes it all in stride.

Enough about him, the redhead I really want to focus on seems to fit most of those qualities to a tee and I love it! According to Wikipedia, here are some other stereotypical redheaded traits:
Original • Passionate • Attractive • Gregarious • Fun-loving • Friendly • Loyal • Opinionated • Smart • Politically strong • Strong warrior • Unpredictable • Zany • Quirky, in a fun way • Adventurous • Free spirit • Spunky

This describes Redhead Friend in a nutshell. She is all this and so much more. I stop to listen every time RF opens her mouth because even if its not what I want to hear (which is rare,) it's always something I need to hear. Not only is her voice music to my ears, RF is a sight to behold. With her flaming locks, you can't miss her. RF manages to make workout clothes look fashionable and keeps heads turning . . . maybe it's her confident stride, her stylish aviators or just her purposeful being. I just love her!

I've only scratched the surface with RF but I'm so drawn to her. We have so much in common . . . most of her opinions seem to be my opinions, many of her stances on life seem to be my stances, she even has neurosis and OCD issues like me! Our lives are intertwined and I know we have many more years to get to know each other better. I can't wait!
