Boys, boys, boys!
I love my boys! Tonight they've been so snuggly and affectionate. It must have something to do with me reminiscing with them about when they were babies. What started this kick? I just returned from my grandmother's birthday party where one of my cousins brought her cute little baby boy. Oh so sweet! I would have another one in a minute -- too bad my husband nipped that in the bud, so to speak. As I think about it while I'm typing . . .
I was ready to seal both the boys' mouths shut with duct tape the minute they got in the car at school pickup! He's touching me, he's being mean to me, he won't stop talking to me . . . People have always said, "You're so lucky you have boys. You don't have to deal with the mood swings." Every one that said that was either the mother of girls or childless.
So I take back my maternal longing. I'll stick with what I've got. Even with all their whining and all my complaining, I lucked out -- there's no need to push it.
