Footloose and Fancy Free!
Warning: This post does not contain gratuitous sexual descriptions, situations or images. Sorry.
We have been sans kids for three days! The boys are away (a mile away, remember we're home-town) at Yaya camp. For those of you wondering, no - we are not Greek. Yaya is grandmother in Greek but they already have a Nana, a Memaw and a Grandmommy Thomas (great-grandmomma) so to be a little different, my mom chose Yaya. The boys love saying it. Let me rephrase that, they love screaming it -YAYA!
Needless to say, me and the main man have been having lots of couple time and that means lots of "out on the town." You've got to remember, I'm on my way to the top of the hill and CLH is just making his way down. That means we aren't venturing out too far or too late. Tonight, we're going to make it 20-25 minutes out -- that is, if CLH is more than half alive when he makes it home from golf this afternoon. Adult conversation, eyeshadow and my black bra -- oh, la la.
It's oh so nice but who are we kidding?! We miss the little booggers. That adult conversation? Somehow it always revolves back to them.
